Versace For H&M

This month, H&M launches what may be its most epic collection yet: fashion, home goods, and accessories made in collaboration with the house of Versace. Those who fondly remember Gianni’s iconic aesthetic—bright colors, gilded paisley prints, and chinoiserie dresses with a focus on gold, gold, gold—should get in line, since Donatella Versace dove deep into the house’s archives to assemble the collection, on Sale starting November 17.

H&M will toast the partnership on November 8 1 Manhattan, gathering lucky partygoers in the custom-built Versace for H&M Hall on the Hudson River. A runway show will offer the first in-person look at the pieces, followed by a shopping spree after-party, where guests purchase the looks hot off the rack. “The moment is right to be rehashing iconic Versace pieces,” Donatella told Women’s Wear Daily when the brand announced the collaboration. “I can feel it in the air.”
