MICHAEL FASSBENDER
Posted in reviewsHe called his role in X-Men: First Class “an elaborate James Bond audition” and, frankly Michael, you read our minds. He impressed in Fish Tank and Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, but it was this year, as Magneto in the reboot of the superhero franchise, that the insanely hot German-Irish actor proved his big-screen quality. That cornflower blue stare, the middle European name, serious acting chops and a torso to give Daniel Craig sleepless nights all helped. It’s less a crush, more the start of a lifelong obsession… (That his next role is as a sex addict in January’s Oscar-buzzed Shame isn’t helping a bit.) Hot moment: seeing his too-hot-for-his- breeches Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. All previous period crushes were blown out the water (we mean you, Darcy).
