Did someone say Stephen Sprouse? Anybody who’s anybody has gotten themselves one of these rose or graffiti bags, designed by none other than Louis Vuitton handbags in-house fashion director, Marc Jacobs.
Originally designed in 2001 as a joint effort between Sprouse and Jacobs, they used the traditional rose and punk-rock style graffiti to “deface” the monogrammed canvas. They were reissued with a few deisgn tweaks and neon colors in January, 2009 after Souse’s passing.
